The F.lli Lotti shoe factory confirms its presence at the new edition of MICAM, the leading international exhibition in the footwear sector, promoted by the association of Italian footwear manufacturers Assocalzaturifici. The event will be held at the Milan Fair (Rho) from 19 to 21 September, where retailers and buyers from all over the world will be waiting for the new collections. The F.lli Lotti shoe factory, one of the most appreciated Made in Italy artisan realities in our country, will present the samples of the new collection of spring summer 2022 footwear at the fair.
To give life to Micam there will be 652 exhibitors located in 5 pavilions. The F.lli Lotti shoe factory will exhibit alongside other leading brands in the sector such as Liu Jo, Primigi, Igi & amp; co and Valleverde. The new collection of spring-summer 2022 footwear of the Lotti shoe factory will be exhibited at PAD4 STAND 21.
Participating in the Micam edition is an important signal to restart after the forced arrest due to the pandemic from Covid 19. The footwear sector, along with many others, has been severely hit by the closures and restrictions imposed by the government, and these have affected heavily on both an economic and occupational level. These concerns were also shared by Siro Badon, president of Assocalzaturifici on the occasion of the launch of the new spring-summer 2022 footwear collections at Micam: "I hope that this edition of Micam, which will take place in the presence and in absolute safety, it marks the restart for a production sector that is decisive for Made in Italy and the economy of our country ", he declared. The rebound of the latest data is “linked to the comparison with months in which the restrictions imposed everywhere had affected the activities of companies, distribution and consumption”, he continues. “A return to pre-pandemic levels will take time. It will also be necessary to recover what was left on the occupational field: 2 thousand fewer employees since the beginning of the year, 3 thousand including components; but I am confident because the relaunch and recovery of our country also pass through the footwear sector ".
The team of the F.lli Lotti Shoe Factory joins this message of hope, eager to resume the work they love at full speed.
